"Fiscal conservative" = for inequality

I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say, "Well I'm socially liberal but fiscally conservative." Not only is this crap but the NYTimes will tell you it's just not true.

According to this NYTimes article the GDP for USA (how many 3 letter acronyms can I use?) is almost twice as big for Dems as Reps.

Not only that, the inequality gap closes when Democrats are in power. Now I realize all you "fiscal conservatives" are like "Yes! This is exactly what we mean!" but in reality the top 95% of people do equally well under both Dems and Reps. It's the poor that do better under Dems - which means that you socially conservatives might get by with even fewer social programs.
